End of 2015 Makki Al-Kurdi, a Saudi national, launched the idea of creating a brand new website to promote tourism in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a broadly unknown country which has a huge potential to attract expatriates who leave there and people all around the world. To do so he proposed to Florent Egal, a French expatriate who had already explored most of Saudi Arabia, and to Andy Conder, a fine connoisseur of Riyadh's restaurant scene. They were both enthusiastic about this idea and immediately decided to launch the project that will soon become the Saudi Arabia Tourism Guide.
One year later Andy had covered some of his favourite restaurants in Riyadh, as well as posts relating to the desert rallies and other recreational activites he was involved with, and Florent had completed more than 50 articles corresponding to as many sites in Saudi Arabia... and still has plenty more to uncover!
Beginning of 2017 the content of the website reached a satisfying level of information and was officially launched in order to reveal to the world the marvels Saudi Arabia has to offer.
